News in Research and Innovation policies in Europe

The ISE Working Group on Researchers’ Careers (WG RC), in collaboration with ICoRSA, has prepared a paper addressed to Manuel Heitor, Chair of the High-Level Group for the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The paper proposes the establishment of funding schemes to enhance academic job security for early career researchers. Manuel Heitor has agreed to share the paper with the group and encouraged us to publish it on our website and promote it widely. We extend our thanks to the WG RC for their efforts. Learn more about this initiative here: Towards establishing funding schemes that promote academic job security for early career researchers - Initiative for Science in Europe.

ICoRSA joined the task group composed by European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (EURODOC), the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), and the Young Academy Europe (YAE) of ISE Survey of European Parliament candidate lists’ views on Research and Innovation that piloted a survey for national candidates for the European Elections that took place in May this year.
